By Road:
From South A1 Northbound past Team Valley. Take A692 turnoff sign posted Lobley Hill & Whickham, through Sunniside, Marley Hill & Byermoor. At Pack Horse Pub turn right onto Fellside Road (A694). Guesthouse on right (approx. 1 mile). From North A1 southbound, across the River Tyne, next exit signposted Consett/Whickham. Follow signs to Whickham past petrol station. Left at roundabout, right 1st lights then right at next lights up Fellside Road. Past Woodman's pub and farm take next left.

By Public Transport:
From Newcastle-upon-Tyne - 7 miles Limited bus service from Eldon Square and the Metro Centre (MC1) to bus stop at Woodman's Arms public house. The guesthouse is 200yds further along the road. Taxi to guesthouse costs approx ?10 - 12 from Central Station.
